Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method to quickly clean up messes. The best robot vacuums and mops I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It's got a host of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also priced lower than competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. Additionally the object detection is difficult to determine; it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. More Material can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place debris in a self sealing bag. This keeps the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. The operating level of the sound is also high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers that are available. It provides impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision. The app lets users fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces in order to avoid contamination.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they have to be emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your space, so it knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did quite well. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in tiny areas. It's fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not connected to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
